Salvelinus malma miyabei is a fish only found in Lake Shikaribetsu. Its isolated evolution has created physical features to adapt to the specific water quality of Lake Shikaribetsu.

Potatoes and sugar beets being grown under plant cultivation lights, using soil from a local field.
