Each area of Hokkaido boasts its own flavors and styles of soft-serve ice cream, and if you're in central Sapporo, I recommend to visit "Machimura Farm", directly operated by the farm owners.
Since 1917, Machimura Farm has operated their dairy ranch nearby Sapporo. The founder is said to be one of the pioneers of modern dairy ranching in Japan. To this day, Machimura Farm carries on the founder’s original tradition of "creating the earth, creating fields of grass, and creating cattle".
