SAPPORO YUKITERRACE 2020 will be held at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza (Akapla) from Sunday, February 2 to Sunday, February 9.
This year the snow can be enjoyed in two zones.
In the “Appreciation Zone,” works by artists from Japan and overseas are exhibited in the Snow Museum, a snow-art gallery designed by an architect, and a program of images is screened on the exterior wall.
What’s more, urban outdoor experiences can be enjoyed in the “Experience Zone,” with snowboarding, tent pitching, campfire stoves and the like. As well as ice cocktails in glasses made from ice, visitors can also eat hot Rakkyo soup-curry noodles and other dishes served from food trucks.
In the evenings, the venue is lit-up to create a mystical space.
Come and enjoy an Akapla experience unique to this season.
